Among the markers of the CD34+CD117dim cells, cysteine-rich intestinal protein (CRIP1) belongs to the LIM/double-zinc finger protein family and is abnormally expressed in a variety of tumors, including breast cancer, colorectal tumors, and thyroid cancer (Ludyga et al., 2013; Li et al., 2017; He et al., 2019; Zhang et al., 2019). The gene discussed is CRIP1; the disease is breast carcinoma.
