Supplementary Table S1 shows proportion of the 10 cell types in 497 samples. Survival analysis demonstrated that mast cells (p = 0.001), CD8+ T cells (p = 0.011), and Treg cells (p = 0.002) were significantly associated with HNSCC outcome (Figures 2C–E). Moreover, univariate Cox analysis indicated that Treg cells were associated with good outcome (p = 0.018), whereas mast cells were intimately linked to poor prognosis (p = 0.019) (Figure 2F). Here, CD8A is linked to head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
