Although reports showed that higher CCT6A and CHCHD2 expressions were correlated with the worse clinical outcomes of NSCLC [30], the prognosis of CCT6A and CHCHD2 in NSCLC LUSC subtype was not significant, suggesting the unique functions of CCT6A and CHCHD2 in contribution of the development and progression of LUAD. The gene discussed is CCT6A; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
