Gergen et al. [32] reported that TLR2 activation induces the proliferation of lung adenocarcinoma cells by activating NF-ĸB. As a special link between lung cancer cells and mesenchymal stem cells in the TME, TLR2 promotes crosstalk and ultimately promotes changes in the tumor-supporting phenotype of mesenchymal cells [33]. The gene discussed is TLR2; the disease is lung adenocarcinoma.
