Patients with anti-NMDAR encephalitis and other rarer subtypes like anti-GABABR, anti-AMPAR, and anti-DPPX encephalitis, can show OCB positive in CSF and /or serum, but patients with anti-LGI1, anti-IgLON5, anti-CASPR2, and anti-GlyR antibodies are rarely OCB positive (5, 6, 123–128). This evidence concerns the gene CNTNAP2 and encephalitis.
