PLAUR and cancer: Accumulating evidence has showed that sushi-repeat-containing protein X-linked 2 (SRPX2) is an abnormal expression in a variety of cancers and involved in cancer carcinogenesis, chemosensitivity, and prognosis, which mainly promote cancer cell metastasis, invasion, and migration by regulating the uPAR/integrins/FAK signaling pathway, epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), angiogenesis, and glycosylation.
