As can be seen in Table 3 and in Figure 1, TNF-α concentrations (β = 0.35, p < 0.001) were higher in individuals with heightened ADHD symptoms, even after controlling for both fatty acid supplementation status (β = −0.03, p = 0.79) and pre-pregnancy BMI (β = 0.35, p = 0.001).
