Subsequently, we compared the promoter methylation levels of four genes for TP53-mutated (n = 174) and non-TP53-mutated colon adenocarcinomas (n = 136) (Figures 6E–H), showing that the promoter methylation level of CSTL1 was lower in tumor tissues with and without TP53 mutation than in normal tissues.
