Tang et al. had indicated that GRN bound directly to tumor necrosis factor receptors (TNFRs) and disturbed the TNFα-TNFR interaction (Tang et al., 2011), while TNFα is responsible for a diverse range of signaling events within cells, leading to necrosis or apoptosis, and also important for resistance to cancers (So and Ishii, 2019). This evidence concerns the gene TNF and cancer.
