IL10 and neoplasm: As we all known, M2 macrophages can express a large number of scavenger receptors (Locati et al., 2020), which is related to the high-intensity expression of IL-10, IL-1β and matrix metalloproteins (MMPs) in the tumor microenvironment (Chen et al., 2017), so they have the function of promoting angiogenesis, tissue reconstruction, tumorigenesis and also tumor development.
