In an ongoing phase II trial, the combination of neoadjuvant pembrolizumab and lenvatinib, a multiple kinase inhibitor, is being investigated in patients with resectable stage III/IV melanoma [34] and improved toxicity rates have recently already been reported with neoadjuvant relatlimab, an anti-LAG-3 antibody, in combination with nivolumab in patients with unresectable or metastatic melanoma [35]. Here, LAG3 is linked to melanoma.
