In the 39 cancers explored in the study, ITGAV expression was relevant to the poor overall survival of 9/39 cancers: LGG, glioma, liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), mesothelioma, stomach adenocarcinoma, pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), stomach, esophageal carcinoma, LUAD, and kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (p < 0.05; Fig. 6C). This evidence concerns the gene ITGAV and carcinoma of esophagus.
