More recently, METTL13 has been shown as a crucial mediator of HN1L (hematological and neurological expressed 1-like) in modulating hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cell growth and metastasis via co-activating TCF3 (transcription factor 3) and ZEB1 (zinc finger E-box binding homeobox 1) expression (Li et al. 2019). Here, METTL13 is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
