The results showed that downregulated eEF1A1 or eEF1A2 suppressed GC cell viability, whereas upregulated eEF1A1 or eEF1A2 promoted opposite effects (Supplementary Fig. 2b, c), hinting that eEF1A plays oncogenic roles in GC, in line with the roles of METTL13 and HN1L. The gene discussed is EEF1A1; the disease is gastric cancer.
