Interestingly, Zfp36 exerts influence in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma by regulating PRC1 (Chen et al., 2020), while it also plays an anti-tumor role through the knockdown of Zfp36 expression to affect inflammation, metabolism and cell proliferation (Krohler et al., 2019). Here, ZFP36 is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
