We and others have previously identified CXCL10 in ocular samples of rats with PMU and EAU (K. L. Pepple et al., 2015) and it has been identified in samples of from human eyes with autoimmune and infectious forms of uveitis (Norose et al., 2011; Errera et al., 2022), suggesting this chemokine is important chemoattractant in many forms of chronic ocular inflammation. Here, CXCL10 is linked to uveitis.
