As expected, under the same culture conditions, SIRT6-overexpressing NSCLC cells produced more ATP than control cells (Fig. 5A), and when treated with 1 μM erlotinib, drug-resistant cells still had a stronger ability to produce ATP (Fig. 5B), and the lactate production results showed the same trend (Fig. 5C, D). The gene discussed is SIRT6; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
