After adjusting for confounders (age, atrial fibrillation, serum albumin level, admission NIHSS, and Barthel index), aICH and sICH increased the risk of unfavorable stroke outcome when compared to patients with no ICH with OR 2.3 (95% CI 1.5–3.6), P-value <0.001, and OR 21.8 (95% CI 5.1–92.4), P-value <0.001, respectively.
