Further evidence was presented by Yang and colleagues (13), who, in contrast to Wu et al., found a higher proportion of bacterial taxa that belonged to Firmicutes (Megasphaera, Lachnospiraceae, Flavonifractor, and Eubacterium), Bacteroidetes (Barnesiellaceae, and Alloprevotella), Proteobacteria (Moraxellaceae, Acinetobacter, Pseudomonadales, and Burkholderiaceae), and Actinobacteria (Enorma) in the gut of HER2+ BC patients. This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and breast cancer.
