The non-neuroendocrine subtypes, SCLC-P, defined by the activation of the transcription factor, POU2F3, representing 7-16%, which is the most sensitive to platinum and PARP inhibitors, and SCLC-I, defined by activation of the transcription factor, YAP-1, representing around 15%, which is generally resistant to platinum. Here, POU2F3 is linked to small cell lung carcinoma.
