Comparison of biodistribution profiles after local or systemic anti-CD40 mAb administration in bladder cancer model revealed that local injection led to CD40 mAb accumulation in the draining lymph node and spleen, presumably because of the high density of CD40+ immune cells, whereas systemic injection led to higher Ab concentration in the liver and blood circulation (47). This evidence concerns the gene CD40 and urinary bladder carcinoma.
