The results show that the overexpression of YAP1 acts as a factor leading to poor prognostic in colorectal cancer (HR = 1.56, 95% CI (1.21, 2.02), P=0.001), gallbladder carcinoma (HR = 1.87, 95% CI (1.29, 2.71), P=0.001), esophageal cancer (HR = 1.58, 95% CI (1.07, 2.32), P=0.020), liver cancer (HR = 1.75, 95% CI (1.15, 2.66), P=0.009), and pancreatic cancer (HR = 1.81, 95% CI (1.19, 2.74), P=0.006); however, there was no effect in gastric cancer (HR = 1.53, 95% CI (0.98, 2.38), P=0.059). This evidence concerns the gene YAP1 and pancreatic neoplasm.
