EGFR overexpression is found in various human malignancies (Levantini et al., 2022), including BCa (Seidl, 2020), and a few monoclonal antibody drugs have been invented to target its protein in breast cancer and non-small cell lung cancer, either approved by the Food and Drug Administration of the US or under clinical trials.
