In a single-cell RNA-seq analysis of pooled TIL-B from 12 samples of cutaneous melanoma lesions from a publicly available dataset (GSE123139)21 enriched in stage III individuals (Supplementary Table 2), we identified 2529 B cells, including a proportion of tumor-infiltrating TGF-β+ Bregs, (11.3%), while populations of IL-10+ (0.1%) and TNF-α+ (0.9%) TIL-B were less frequently detected (Figure 4(a-b)), in agreement with our quantitative IHC/IF analyses (Figure 3(h)). The gene discussed is TNF; the disease is melanoma.
