Overall, whilst many studies have considered AMH concentrations as an indicator of testicular development in children and young people with DSD, very few have focussed on inhibin B. Therefore, the use of Inhibin B as a marker of Sertoli cell function should be a research priority in future years, particularly when assessing adolescents with DSD, in whom AMH levels are more difficult to interpret. This evidence concerns the gene AMH and disorder of sexual differentiation.
