Similarly, in postmenopausal patients, ROMA, CA125 and HE4 performed nearly equivalent in detecting late-stage ovarian cancer (AUCs 0.96 [95% CI 0.93–0.99], 0.94 [95% CI 0.91–0.98] and 0.92 [95% CI 0.88–0.97], respectively) (Fig. 3B). This evidence concerns the gene MUC16 and ovarian cancer.
