To verify bioinformatics analysis results, we first detected UBE2V2 and UBE2D2 mRNA levels in the circulating neutrophils of AIS patients and healthy controls; compared to those in the control groups, UBE2V2 mRNA levels were upregulated in AIS patients and in LPS-stimulated HL-60 cells (Figs. 7c–d). Here, UBE2V2 is linked to androgen insensitivity syndrome.
