NPPB and peripheral arterial disease: Finally, we have performed propensity score matched analysis that matched the patients for 17 variables that might influence the selection of MET therapy or that have been shown to influence prognosis of patients with advanced heart failure (age, sex, NYHA functional class, BMI, estimated glomerular filtration rate, LVEF, RV dysfunction grade, mitral and tricuspid regurgitation severity, BNP level, beta-blockers use, renin-angiotensin system inhibitors use, ICD therapy, CRT therapy, uric acid levels, treatment with other PAD/incretins and treatment with insulin).
