The SET-CAN fusion gene has been found in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL), B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL), acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myeloid sarcoma (MS).[2,7–9] It is reported more frequently in T-ALL, which accounts for approximately about 50% of the cases. This evidence concerns the gene NUP214 and myeloid sarcoma.
