A previous study (3) from our colleagues on the same set of patients already evaluated the scores of tumor infiltrating leucocytes (TILs): CD3 (T cells), CD4 (T helper), CD8 (present mostly on cytotoxic T cells, but also on a subset of macrophages and dendritic cells), FoxP3 (forkhead box P3; regulatory T cells), CD20 (B cells), CD68 (macrophage), and CD163 (present on type 2 macrophage), as well as the ionized calcium-binding adapter molecule 1 (Iba1; activated macrophages) and the two immuno-modulatory proteins, PD-L1 and interleukin-33 (IL-33). This evidence concerns the gene IL33 and neoplasm.
