Recently, somatic mutations of multiple GPCRs, including adhesion G protein-coupled receptor L3 (LPHN3), apelin receptor (APLNR), adhesion G protein-coupled receptor B3 (BAI3) and glutamate metabotropic receptor 8 (GRM8), have been reported to be implicated in the development of ovarian cancer, identifying novel therapeutic target in ovarian cancer (4). This evidence concerns the gene ADGRB3 and ovarian carcinoma.
