Based on the results of RT-qPCR, Lee et al. reported that the hot spots of TERT promoter −124C>T, −146C>T mutation, and −138/139CC>TT mutation were all related to TERT overexpression in melanoma and suggested that −146C>T and −138/139CC>TT mutations could biologically contribute to melanoma [29].
