Interestingly, PFKFB4 was significantly negatively correlated with CD8 + T cells (include naïve, central memory, and effector memory), hematopoietic stem cells, and M2 macrophage (anti-inflammatory subsets of macrophage) in most cancer types (Fig. 5A), but it was positively related with neutrophils, cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAF), myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs), and M0 macrophage in various cancer types (Fig. 5B). The gene discussed is CD8A; the disease is cancer.
