Recent results (COAST trial) revealed promising efficacy for the combination of monoclonal anti-CD73 antibody oleclumab with PD-L1 checkpoint inhibitor durvalumab as a consolidation therapy following chemo-radiotherapy in stage III unresectable non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) resulting in an increased overall response rate (ORR: 30% vs. 17.9% with durvalumab alone) and 12-month progression-free survival (PFS) rate (62.6% vs. 33.9% with durvalumab alone) (Herbst et al. 2022).
