Genes included in the immune-related prognostic signature all showed positive or negative regulation of tumor progression, such as CDH10, which encodes a type II classical cadherin of the cadherin superfamily that was shown to be frequently mutated and associated with various cancers, such as pancreatic ductal adenocarcinomas (55), gastric and colorectal cancers (56), and lung squamous cell carcinomas (57). This evidence concerns the gene CDH10 and colorectal cancer.
