So far, the GARP mRNA has been detected in various cell types and tissues of different origin, including heart, kidney, liver, lung, pancreas, placenta, skeletal muscle, and lymphoid tissues as well as in different cancer entities (e.g. melanoma, breast cancer, oral squamous cell carcinoma, prostate cancer, and glioblastoma). This evidence concerns the gene LRRC32 and glioblastoma.
