[94] related up-regulation in MLL-AF6 AML, a type of acute leukemia where an abnormal chromosomal translocation is fused into the N-terminal portion of the mixed-lineage leukemia gene (MLL), adding a sequence that encodes the C-terminus of different fusion partner proteins: in this case, the AF6 protein gene [94,172].
