ALB and cancer: compared the biodistribution of nanoparticulate albumin‐bound paclitaxel (nab‐PTX) and other commercial NPs, including β‐Cyclodextrin nanoparticles (CDNPs), PLGA‐NPs, and liposomes.[8] They found that nab‐PTX mainly accumulated in cancer cells due to rapid disassembly and the targeting function of albumin, while the other NPs preferentially accumulated in macrophages.
