In this study, we identify lincRNA-MIR99AHG (hereon referred to as MIR99AHG) to be abundantly expressed in M2 (IL-4/IL-13) polarized mouse and human monocyte-derived macrophages (MDMs) and downregulated in PBMC from active TB patients and Mtb HN878 infected mouse and human macrophages. The gene discussed is IL4; the disease is tuberculosis.
