At cutoff values of 345.51 pg/mL for day 1 serum CTGF and 626.2 pg/mL for day 7 serum CTGF (AUC = 0.858, P< 0.001, 95% confidence interval [CI] = 0.78 - 0.94 and AUC = 0.984, P < 0.001, 95% confidence interval [CI] =0.85 - 0.99 respectively), sensitivity was 84% and 94%, and specificity was 82% and 91%, respectively, for distinguishing patients with diagnosed with COVID-19 with lung injury from those without lung injury (Figure 2). This evidence concerns the gene CCN2 and COVID-19.
