Another PWAS analysis combined with Banner proteome reference weights identified 13 candidate genes significantly associated with PTSD, such as MADD (pPWAS-Banner = 4.9 × 10−2) in the all population; GLO1 (pPWAS-Banner = 4.89 × 10−3) in females; and C3orf18 (pPWAS-Banner = 7.07 × 10−31) in males. This evidence concerns the gene GLO1 and post-traumatic stress disorder.
