Overall, seven ovarian cancer-associated genes were found to be altered among nine (38%) of the 24 EV-DNA samples (Figure 1A): TP53 (4, 17%), FAT3 (2, 8%), MLH1 (2, 8%), ARID1A (1, 4%), JAG2 (1, 4%), NOTCH3 (1, 4%), and PTEN (1, 4%). Here, MLH1 is linked to ovarian carcinoma.
