These reports describe very similar reaction patterns for a number of additional antibody/donor cell systems, as follows: anti-E antibodies; Epstein–Barr virus (EBV)-immune complexes bound to B cells; T cells opsonized with anti-HIV antibodies; E and multiple myeloma (MM) cells opsonized with anti-CD38 mAb; and scenarios in which NK cells can act as either donors or acceptors during trogocytosis. The gene discussed is CD38; the disease is Miyoshi myopathy.
