Interestingly, another report showed that the induction of OS using H2O2 resulted in PP1 activation and tau dephosphorylation at specific sites in rat hippocampal cells and SH-SY5Y human neuroblastoma cells [105], suggesting that OS might regulate the phosphorylation/dephosphorylation of tau by the activation/inhibition of phosphatases.
