Consistently, in this study, after using TAK242 to block the TLR4 signaling pathway in septic rats, the activation and nuclear translocation of NF-κB were reduced, the contents of inflammatory factors (TNF-α and IL-6) were reduced, and the heart damage was improved, indicating that the activation of the TLR4 signaling pathway in sepsis could promote the inflammatory response through the NF-kB pathway, and lead to myocardial damage and heart dysfunction. The gene discussed is TLR4; the disease is Sepsis.
