HP and COVID-19: As hypothesized (Hp 1a and Hp 1b), both dimensions of risk perception are positively related to fear of COVID-19, as well as for subjective norms (Hp 3c); taking into account direct and indirect effects of antecedents and intermediate variables on vaccination intention, results seem to clearly confirm that the expected effect of subjective norms, and risk perceptions through fear of COVID-19, is fully mediated by trust in science (Table 3; Hp 5 and Hp 6).
