ACE and laryngotracheoesophageal cleft: Angiotensin-converting-enzyme inhibitors, angiotensin receptor blockers and direct renin inhibitors are not indicated in patients with LC, especially in those in the decompensated stage of the disease due to the effect of vasodilation, which could increase the risk of acute kidney injury, including hepato-renal syndrome, and predispose the patients to electrolyte disturbances.
