Following the availability of antibodies targeting tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNFα), the standard of therapeutic care offered to patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), psoriatic arthritis (PsA) and spondyloarthritis (SpA) has substantially improved in terms of controlling signs/symptoms of inflammation, quality of life and functional outcome [1,2,3,4].
