In the multivariate analysis for the NT-proBNP > 125 pg/mL group, PTH and NT-proBNP levels, age, previous history of CABG and treatment with insulin, angiotensin receptor blockers, nitrates and proton pump inhibitors were positively associated with the development of ischemic events, HF admission or death during the follow-up, whereas treatment with statins was inversely associated (Table 3B and Figure 1B). This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and hydrops fetalis.
