According to available protein–protein interaction data in the STRING database, we predicted 10 top genes, including interleukin 10 (IL-10), Signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3), interleukin 4 (IL-4), neurotrophic receptor tyrosine kinase 2 (NTRK2), neuroligin-1 (NLGN1), neuroligin 4 X-Linked (NLGN4X), axin 1(AXIN1), TNF receptor superfamily member 1A (TNFRSF1A), ephrin type-A receptor 1 (EPHA1), and neuroligin 3 (NLGN3) as the most related involved novel genes in MS and OCD (Figure 2B). This evidence concerns the gene NLGN1 and myeloid sarcoma.
