Regarding the average maximum diameters (Figure 5B), both CD31- and CD105-positive vessels showed clear-cut differences between control (19.50 ± 1.19 μm; 4.18 ± 2.63 μm) and adenocarcinoma areas (32.04 ± 2.84 μm; 30.94 ± 3.66 μm) (p < 0.001), with the widest difference being observed for CD105. This evidence concerns the gene ENG and adenocarcinoma.
