In the present study, we also observed that RA patients with an elevated level of the mean value of ESR (42.25 ± 21.91 mm/h) were characterized by about two times higher IFN-γ serum level when to compare with RA patient with normal mean value of ESR (11.40 ± 2.65 mm/h), but the difference was not significant (p = 0.25). This evidence concerns the gene IFNG and rheumatoid arthritis.
